FASHION NEWS : COLOURFUL INDIA TO THE SHOWS IN LONDON

I got off the plane from India and went straight to the shows in London, which did not fail to make me very grateful I'd come back in time. Just on India though, if I were a designer I'd go there for inspiration. Indian women have STYLE! I was captivated by their beauty and elegance the whole way through my trip - no matter how rich or poor, they wear their vibrant saris with pride, heads held high in the same way you or I might if we were wearing our favourite Chanel. They certainly live by fashion's number one rule - look good, feel good. Above is a picture I took of lots of Indians on a beach to show you what I'm talking about. More pictures from my trip to come. For now, these were my favourite looks from the shows I went to see in London. I've just realised that a lot of them are brightly coloured. India must have influenced me more than I'd thought!

Notes From India
Hello everyone I arrived in India this morning, got in to Bangalore at 4.30am, checked in to a hotel for a few hours to freshen up and now on train to Mysore - a four hour trip. I am travelling here for two and a half weeks, and am already feeling the elation that comes with being in a completely foreign place far away on the way to an exotic town I've never been to before. I am sat opposite two beautiful women in colourful saris and red dots on their foreheads, and slums are now passing me by as the train pulls us out of the city. Wow - wouldn't like to live there much. Have taken these few snaps below:
Warm air is blowing through the open window. It’s hot here! Loving it - different smells, different climate, different culture... Oh a man has just come with a saucepan full of something scrummy looking and passing it out to passengers. It looks like corn and vegetables, maybe carrots, but I'm not sure - might try it. Another update to come in a couple of weeks with more pictures. For now though I am blogging off for a couple of weeks. Data roaming is v expensive on this blackberry! Back in time for Fashion Week.
Shoot In Nevada Desert
Me with Christian.
Hi all, Recently I was flown to Las Vegas in order to do a two day shoot in the Nevada desert. It was a fabulous client but I'm not sure I'm allowed to say who... the photographer was Jennifer Livingston who is great. Here are some pics... Shooting in the beautiful dunes. It’s shoots like these I'm reminded quite how lucky I am!
Lovely team : Teddy Charles (hair), Christian McCullough (make-up), and model Heidi Mount, who has one of the sharpest and funniest tongues in the industry.
The Sand Buggy. They wheeled us back and forth from the location van in these things, at about 100mph and at 90 degrees angles from the 90 degrees sloping dunes - bloody terrifying but quite fun!
