Ford’s Rose Cordero features on the cover of Arise Spring 2011 photographed by John-Paul Pietrus. Titled “Wild Thing,” the story captures the Dominican-born model wearing various finely styled looks by Sabrina Henry. Rose last appeared on this page for her part in that brightly colored Daniel Jackson Harper’s Bazaar editorial, but for this outing she trades the bright for Parisian night. Rose’s first look, a leopard print dress by Blumarine and beige bondage wrap shoes by Via Uno, sets the story’s mood with a flourish. The grainy shot of Rose standing before an illuminated Eiffel Tower wearing a white beaded dress by Aquilano Rimondi and necklace and earrings by Erickson Beamon complements the warmly-lit interior shots set against millwork. The cover itself also complements Rose Cordero’s already illustrious CV that includes covers of Vogue Paris, i-D, and V.
